Reason?! Mountains high, light-blocking blankets, wet with glacier melt, cover precious lands of belonging. Oceans deep, a self-propelled, luminescent mollusc struggles to absorb oxygen while billions dump plastic into its home. On the plains, transgenic poisoned seeds feed land animals husbanded tight for slaughter. On our wetlands, hurricanes beget a constancy of floods. Crude oil and gases cooling the fiery churn of our spinning planet are brought to the surface for useless transport and fantasy monetary systems, catching even rivers afire. Tundra melts, icebergs crash, aquifers dry, as visionary sailors, scientists and artists dare to discover solutions, offering ships of ideas for humanity - to take notice of the weave of our pandemic actions. Together!? Art captures the soul of humankind, one species in the multiplicity of aesthetic agency on our planet. Notice the architecture of birds! Notice your effect on their endangered songs. Wind brings the AVONTUUR’s art manifest to the nearest ports. Notice your consumption like a sailor in mid-ocean. Notice so your planet’s flying fish can breathe free. See an ocean full of sails, see forests protecting fruit trees embraced with ancient blue corn, passion flowers, and cocoons of butterflies. See a future of organic soil layered atop the Anthropocene’s plastic molecules. Live in the transition time of ecosystem regeneration. Feel the freedom of responsible action. Recognize this wealth!
